Hello Friend!

Photo days can be painful for everyone! Thoughts like: "Will my kids behave?", "I want to lose a few pounds first", "and I don't have the time" can make it pretty easy to back out.

Enter: team Heidi & Ben.

We believe in capturing authenticity over generating perfectly posed moments. This means that we're goofing off WITH your kids, pulling funny faces during your boudoir shoot, and whatever else we've got up our sleeves to make sure that everyone has a great time ;)

We capture what makes you fall in love with your little ones every day . . . the story behind the smiles and the goofy looks, the story of WHY they love exploring and hunting for exploding dragon gems so. darn. much.

We capture endless imagination, helping your family always remember these short magical years of childhood.

During a shoot, we never tell kids to "smile". (I mean c'mon, does your kid REALLY wear that forced smile on a daily basis?) Instead, they're probably running around, making faces while they try to get little sister to understand why spiderman is SO EPIC!)

We call our shoots "discovery days" since we're running around exploring life with your kiddo(s), and we usually drag mom and dad in on the fun and it turns into a play date for the WHOLE family.

Not only is the shoot TONS of fun and catered exclusively to you, but when you see your prints, you'll fall in love with your family all over again.

We cannot express the honor we feel to be a part of that day with you.

About Me:

I'm wife to an amazing business and life partner (Ben), a mother to my little food-crazed beagle, and raccoon-attacking alley cat, and I have more wanderlust than one individual should be allowed to have.

Fermented foods fascinate me (sourdough bread, kombucha, sauerkraut, etc.) If I can ferment it, I'm usually doing so . . . and I've decided there HAS to be a way to ferment chocolate so I can claim it as my daily probiotic. I am passionate about learning the old ways of doing things, I find it puts me in touch with my roots :)
